The Genaveh chocolate factory is renowned in the Grand Duchy and internationally for its artisanal know-how, inspired by Franco-Belgian trends.
Founded in 2005 by Geula Naveh, the Maison was taken over in 2017 by the young entrepreneur Alexandra Kahn. Passionate about pastries and chocolate, she took over this little gem of Luxembourgish craftsmanship and surrounded herself with a team of artisans who are just as passionate as she is. Together, they develop the Maison's new recipes, respecting local or seasonal flavors. Their love of chocolate and their talent for creation come to life in each candy.

Chocolate makerIn 2022, the Genaveh chocolate factory received the prestigious title of official supplier to the Grand Ducal Court.
The accomplishment of a long work and a real honor to see the chocolates of the House carefully chosen by His Royal Highness the Grand Duke.
A guarantee of prestige and excellence, we are particularly proud to bear this privileged title, from which only around fifty Luxembourg companies benefit to date.
Couverture chocolates,
signature of the house
Our 39% milk chocolate is from Sao Tome and Principe.
Located in the Gulf of Guinea, off the African coast, this verdant island is renowned for its rare and sensitive genetic heritage.
This milk chocolate is distinguished by its creamy taste with notes of dried fruits, which is accompanied by a delicious taste of honey. Very gourmet, it leaves a very captivating and tireless melting sensation in the mouth.
It is a sweet blend of Sao Tome and Principe beans, excellent original milk, cocoa butter and unrefined cane sugar from Paraguay.
Our 63% dark chocolate is from Peru, located in the region of Ucayali and San Martin.
We selected it for the exquisite notes it leaves in the mouth: a cocoa taste with notes of yellow fruits and nuts.
Its roundness highlights a beautiful intensity and leaves a persistent length in the mouth with a slight astringency at the end of the tasting.
We chose the Cuencas del Huallaga cooperative for its organic and fair trade beans. This cooperative supports farmers in their development projects, contributes to improving living conditions and provides access to a certified cocoa market. Aligned with our values, the cooperative is also committed to the fight against environmental degradation and climate change.
Innovation, the very essence of the house
The true driving force behind the Genaveh chocolate factory, indulgence is at the heart of all discussions and decision-making. We take great pleasure in sharing our passion and know-how with chocolate lovers. We like to surprise them, play with their senses and develop new flavors in order to give them a real experience with each bite. We work with chocolate every day, with great pleasure, and by adding a generous dose of creativity. We don't just like to create, we love to innovate, mix flavors according to the seasons, and offer healthy and low-sugar chocolate. Over the years, we have also developed vegan and gluten-free products so that indulgence is accessible to everyone.
We are convinced that innovation and creativity can help us to have even more responsible chocolates. We have also chosen to present them in recycled cardboard packaging, the transparent part of which is a bioplastic composed of wood fiber, which makes them 100% biodegradable and compostable.
We also work closely with Graine de Vie, an association whose mission is to offset the ecological footprint of inhabitants by planting trees in developing countries. We participate alongside them in planting 12,000 trees each year. While we cannot be perfect de facto, we do everything to improve the packaging of our products so that they are more eco-responsible.
In our approach that is ever more respectful of the quality and authenticity of our products, we have gradually replaced white sugar with unrefined sugar in our recipes. This choice allows us to preserve the nutritional properties of sugar, while offering a more natural sweetness and richer flavors. This evolution is part of our desire to offer chocolates that are both delicious and better for your health.
